Sana, known as one of the female pioneers in Finnish rap, has released a new version of “Viiden tähden kusipää.” The song was originally released in 2007 and spread on Mikseri.net and YouTube before now being officially available on streaming services for the first time.
She wrote the song as a teenager and has now rewritten the verses but retained the original chorus. Sana describes how the bravado of her teenage years has made way for an adult club environment, and explains that listeners' requests led her to revisit the song.
The release is the first single from an upcoming EP featuring new versions of her most requested songs from 2007–2013. The four new recordings have been made together with producer Sami Tamminen, also known as Samson.
The collection also includes “Kiitos ja hei” as a bonus track. That song too is from the early years of the period, and the updated version was released in 2024.
