STRÖM, a name associated with electric energy and raw vitality, has today released their third full-length album, “Mer Ström Åt Folket”, via Black Lodge Records / Sound Pollution Distribution. The band has built a devoted following by uniting classic hard rock with straightforward, unrefined rock ‘n’ roll—often compared to AC/DC but with a unique style rooted in Småland persistence and authenticity. STRÖM’s hallmark is an uncompromising, self-assured style that breathes originality and a rock ‘n’ roll spirit.
Having played more than a hundred shows, STRÖM has progressed from smoky club floors to the spotlights of the country’s largest festival stages, including Sweden Rock Festival. The band’s live performances are known for their high energy: dense smoke effects, electric charge, sing-alongs, humor, and close audience interaction create stage experiences that go beyond the ordinary. It is precisely this mix that has made STRÖM one of the most talked-about live bands in Swedish hard rock.
The release of “Mer Ström Åt Folket” marks a new high point in STRÖM’s career. The album presents the band at their strongest and most confident to date—rawer, heavier, and with noticeable authority. Early singles like 'Fröken Raket' and the anthemic title track have already demonstrated heightened energy, attitude, and STRÖM’s commitment to their own sound. The album was recorded at Tilt Studio in Strömstad and mixed by the renowned producer Johan Forsman Löwenström, known for his work with The Soundtrack of Our Lives and Håkan Hellström.
