With the newly released single "Gul & Blå", Simon Superti returns to the spotlight, this time in a heartfelt collaboration with singer and actress Alba August. The song is released at a time when Sweden's political climate is intensifying ahead of the 2026 parliamentary election, serving as a timely reflection of the country's current mood.

"Gul & Blå" is the third single from the upcoming album "Hemlisar III" and offers an in-depth commentary on the serious choices facing today's society. The lyrics address issues such as xenophobia, the normalization of alienation, and the challenges facing Sweden's most vulnerable. Through evocative vocals and moving melodies, both sorrow and hope are conveyed—not least, the possibility of change and unity. Superti has highlighted August’s ability to create an emotional resonance with her presence, something that pervades the entire track and lingers long after the song has ended.

Alba August has made her mark both in music and as an actress, with prominent roles in TV series like "Knutby" and Netflix’s "The Rain." Her unique style was further enhanced by acclaimed performances in "Så mycket bättre" during autumn 2024, and she is now considered one of the most interesting voices on the Swedish scene. In "Gul & Blå", she adds layers of searching for identity, loss, and hope for the future, in a harmony that gives the song its characteristic intensity.

The single follows "Spöken" and "Rakt i Kaklet", the two previous songs from "Hemlisar III", where Superti continues to explore themes such as identity, class, community, and faith in humanity. Through these releases, Superti strengthens his position as one of Sweden’s most engaged and empathetic storytellers.

In recent years, Superti has garnered significant attention, not least thanks to the critically acclaimed album "Hemlisar" (2023), which included collaborations with Joakim Berg, Daniel Ledinsky, and Jocke Åhlund. His successes have included a Grammis award, both gold and platinum singles, as well as top spots on the Swedish charts. His intense performances in "Så mycket bättre" and sold-out club and summer tours have further reinforced his reputation as an artist who gives voice to unspoken feelings and hidden experiences.

In early 2025, "Bullerbyn är död" was released, a song focusing on class divides and social exclusion, which quickly made an impact and came to mean a lot to many listeners. That year also saw the release of "Hemlisar II" and its subsequent tour, including two sold-out nights in Uppsala, marking yet another milestone in Superti’s artistic development.

In 2026, Superti made further history with his acting debut in the SVT series "Hundarna", which was awarded Kristallen for TV Drama of the Year later that same year.

Now Simon Superti takes another step forward and announces his largest headline concert yet: on February 24, 2027, he will take the stage at the iconic Cirkus in Stockholm—a night expected to draw a large audience around his storytelling and powerful music.
