Country singer Riley Green today releases his highly anticipated fourth studio album, That’s Just Me, via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. The 19-track album offers Green’s unique blend of traditional country storytelling, Southern roots, and heartfelt songwriting. The new record provides listeners with a personal insight into Green’s experiences, relationships, and defining moments that have shaped his musical expression.
Within the extensive track selection, That’s Just Me moves between themes such as tributes to family, origins, love, betrayal, and life constantly on the road. Several collaborations stand out—Hannah McFarland, Jake Worthington, Brooks & Dunn, as well as Randy Owen from Alabama contribute their voices and add new dimensions to Green’s sound. Together, they weave timeless country authenticity with innovative energy and modern production.
Critical Acclaim and Artistic Development
The album release has already attracted attention in leading media outlets. New York Times has recently praised Green’s songwriting, describing That’s Just Me as “an unexpectedly melodic interpretation of old themes.” Billboard has named him “Hitmaker of the Year.” Swedish DI Weekend lauds his powerful voice and how he renews 90s hat country—in the spirit of Alan Jackson and Brooks & Dunn—with modern productions and striking lyrics about whiskey, boots, and independence.
Riley Green’s authenticity and storytelling ability have lifted him to the top ranks of country music. Previous hits such as the platinum-certified “There Was This Girl,” the beloved “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” as well as crowd favorites “Half Of Me,” “you look like you love me,” and “Different Round Here” have steadily built his strong position. So far, Green has been awarded five ACM Awards, four CMA Awards, and several nominations from the American Music Awards and CMT Awards.
The album is released during an intense period of success for Green. He is currently on his biggest tour to date—the Cowboy As It Gets Tour—with major shows in, among other places, Long Beach (California), Los Angeles (California), and Austin (Texas). Bridgestone Arena in Nashville was recently sold out for one of his largest concerts to date. Notable special guests on the tour include Randy Houser, Kashus Culpepper, and Hannah McFarland, which adds to the tour’s appeal.
His live performances have also reached audiences through television. Recently, he has been seen performing on NBC’s TODAY Show Summer Concert Series, as well as on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he performed “My Way.” Green is also set to be one of the main acts at Stagecoach 2027 and is nominated for a CMA Award in the Musical Event of the Year category.
Beyond music, Riley Green is broadening his cultural portfolio. He recently debuted as an actor in the role of Garrett—a former Navy SEAL—in the CBS drama Marshals. He is also appearing as a coach in both the 30th and 31st seasons of NBC’s The Voice. Under his own brand Duck Club Bourbon, he is launching his own spirit, alongside a major involvement in the charity project Buford Bonds Charitable Fund, which supports local initiatives and small-town communities.
