The American country artist Riley Green has today released his highly anticipated single "Go Again", an emotionally charged duet with Alabama native and longtime tour partner Hannah McFarland. The single is released via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment and offers an intimate glimpse into Green’s artistry, where two unique voices meet against a warm and stripped-down musical backdrop.
"Go Again" highlights Green’s songwriting talent, alternating between his and McFarland’s perspectives in the verses. The acoustic soundscape, built around earthy guitar and subtle slide guitar, underscores the emotional weight of the lyrics. The collaboration creates a dynamic dialogue, where Green’s robust baritone meets McFarland’s soulful vocals – a meeting that emphasizes the song’s themes of longing and second chances.
Upcoming Album: "That’s Just Me"
The single is the third preview from Green’s fourth studio album, That’s Just Me, produced by renowned Nashville creator Dann Huff. The album will be released on September 18, 2026 and has taken shape during a defining period in Green’s career – as he embarks on his biggest tour to date. Listeners are invited on a personal journey through stories of fleeting romances, vulnerability, beach life, and pride in rural traditions.
Green describes the album as multifaceted, with his development as an artist and songwriter at its core. The production is purposefully understated on songs like "Go Again" to bring out the honest and raw expression in the performances. The album has already attracted attention with the earlier ballad "My Way" (as heard in the CBS drama Marshals) and the energetic summer song "Think As You Drunk".
This spring, Green also broke through as an actor in the TV series Marshals, portraying Garrett, a former Navy SEAL. At the same time, he continued to make new strides within country music, including scoring his seventh number-one spot on country radio thanks to "Change My Mind" and receiving an ACM Award for Music Event of the Year.
Green’s reach now extends beyond music – he will become a coach in the 30th season of NBC’s The Voice and has recently launched the spirits brand Duck Club Bourbon. At the same time, he has filled arenas across the USA, including an acclaimed concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
The ongoing Cowboy As It Gets Tour continues to expand with ten new fall dates. The tour will visit major cities and arenas, including Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Austin. In addition to Hannah McFarland, artists such as Clint Black, Drake White, Mackenzie Carpenter, and Zach John King will also appear as guests at selected concerts.
With "Go Again", Riley Green further establishes himself as one of country music’s most interesting voices – genuine, innovative, and firmly rooted in the art of storytelling. Expectations are high for That’s Just Me, and the upcoming album release marks yet another important chapter for Green and his audience, where he continues to unite tradition and modernity within country music.
