Swedish hip-hop pioneer Petter is embarking on an intimate and close-up tour in the spring of 2027, coinciding with the release of his upcoming album Bar Nîmes. Following strong audience demand, two extra performances have now been added to the schedule at Södra Teatern in Stockholm.

Petter, who broke through in 1998 with his debut album Mitt sjätte sinne, continues to dominate the Swedish music scene after nearly three decades. The upcoming tour focuses on intimacy and personal connection, with newly written material from Bar Nîmes alongside selected favorites from his career. The concert format combines music, monologues, and open storytelling for a seated audience, aiming to blur the lines between artist and listener.

The two extra shows will take place on Saturday, March 13, 2027 at Södra Teatern in Stockholm—a chance for fans to experience Petter in an exceptionally intimate format. The expansion of the tour comes after strong ticket sales, highlighting Petter's enduring popularity.

On stage, Petter will be joined by his longtime collaborators Carolina Wallin Pérez (keyboards and vocals) and Helmer Norrby (guitar and vocals). Their combined efforts are expected to bring both musical breadth and depth to the concerts, as well as enhance Petter's storytelling and presence.

During his lengthy career, Petter Alexis Askergren has established himself as more than just a musician. With four Grammis awards, he is one of the most influential figures in Swedish hip-hop and has elevated the genre to new heights. Besides his music career, Petter is also active as an artist, author, entrepreneur and lecturer, and he was named Speaker of the Year in 2017.

In addition to his stage career, Petter has deepened his engagement in culture and entrepreneurship in recent years. In 2026, he founded the foundation Kul på vägen, which distributes annual scholarships in the areas of culture, health, and business—a further step strengthening his role in Swedish cultural life.

The current tour is not only a musical experience, but also a personal meeting place with one of Sweden's most multifaceted and significant artists. The new extra performances at Södra Teatern emphasize both the audience's strong engagement and Petter's continued relevance after nearly thirty years on the Swedish music scene.
