This Friday marks the release of Swedish artist Lovad’s new EP, “Historien om mig”, a work described as her most personal project to date. Lovad, whose real name is Lova Drevstam, introduces a collection of five tracks, each conceived as an autobiographical chapter and reflecting upon pivotal relationships and moments that have shaped her identity.
The EP is crafted as a deeply intimate narrative, where Lovad explores themes including sisterhood, lost love, motherhood, and the journey of coming to terms with life’s transformative experiences. Many of the songs are directed toward key figures in her life, including an address to her younger self. To celebrate the release, Lovad is also embarking on a nationwide tour spanning summer and autumn, giving audiences the chance to experience the new songs in a live setting. The tour includes confirmed dates in Eskilstuna on June 6th, Gävle on July 10th, Stockholm on October 15th, Malmö on October 16th, and Göteborg on October 17th.
