Jorma Mattila & Ulkopuoliset, the melodic punk rock band from Imatra and Villmanstrand, have released their debut album Antaa palaa!. It follows the earlier single Voimalaulu. The record is described as a mix of catchy punk, irreverence, warmth, and melancholy.

The title track is also the album's lead song. The band describes it as a melodic and melancholic mid-tempo rock song with a broad expression. The Finnish title can function as a call to let loose or imply burning; the musicians emphasize that context and tone determine its meaning.

The lyrics were significantly changed before reaching their final form. According to the group, the original, darker concept went too far for singer Jonna, although the reworked version is still far from cheerful. They also highlight that the recording provides especially ample space for the different colors of her voice.

The group’s strong do-it-yourself spirit also characterizes their videos. A video for the title track was planned for release on November 11th. The band recounts that a violent fire broke out right next to the rehearsal space at the time of shooting. The space itself was undamaged, but an old protected building on the same property burned down to the ground.

The album release was to be celebrated with friends at Kuluma Pub, where a free show was announced to begin at 22:00.

The instruments are played by Ilu on guitar and backing vocals, Seppo on guitar, Vesku on bass and backing vocals, and Niko on drums.
