Stockholm-based producer, DJ and artist Discrete will release “Bully The Scene” on 9 October 2026 through co:brand/EMI Nordic. Created with Harrison First and BGZ, the single marks his return after almost a year away from releasing music and launches a reset of the project.
His previous catalogue has largely centred on melodic house and electronic pop. The new track brings warehouse techno and rave energy into that framework, retaining an emphasis on melody and pop while pursuing a heavier, more physical club sound. Its direct, intense approach is intended for live settings.
The artist says he stepped back because he did not want to keep making the same kind of song. During the break, he rebuilt the project from the ground up. He describes this release as closer to the music he actually plays when DJing and says it felt like the right track for his return: “Probably not the safest choice, but the most honest.”
Fred again.., Jamie xx and Skrillex are named as reference points for the musical direction.
Over the past decade, he has developed an international audience and an extensive electronic music catalogue. His performance history includes EDC Las Vegas, Concerts in the Park in Sacramento, Elsewhere in New York and Kulturfestivalen in his home city.
