Egokills Celebrates 15 Years with the Single "Shine & Glow" and Unveils New Album "Brainbanger"
2026 marks an impressive anniversary for the Tampere-based band Egokills, now celebrating 15 years of melodic, groove-based metal with a distinct identity. During the anniversary year, the quartet continues its creative journey with the release of the new single "Shine & Glow"—a preview of the band's upcoming fourth studio album, "Brainbanger." The track highlights Egokills' signature combination of powerful riffs and grand, uplifting intensity.
"Shine & Glow" is the second single from "Brainbanger" and follows the previous release "Knuckle Choke." The new song stands out as a majestic and empowering metal ballad, while confirming the band's ability to blend heavy soundscapes with emotional depth. The energy and refreshment radiated by the band in "Shine & Glow" are the result of a period of adversity and change. After personal challenges, Egokills has returned to its original four-member line-up, with vocalist Janne Selo now also playing guitar. This has brought new fuel to songwriting and musical collaboration.
