Lars Winnerbäck is following up his arena tour in autumn 2026 with nine concerts at smaller venues in four Nordic countries during 2027. The extension takes him through northern Norway and northern Sweden, followed by two evenings in Helsinki and finally Copenhagen in September. He will be traveling with his entire live band, allowing the ensemble to be featured in a more intimate setting rather than transitioning to a stripped-down format.
The program will unite material from Längtan till våren, his fifteenth studio album, with established favorites from his catalog. The album was released in September 2026 and bridges the arena tour with the concerts at smaller venues. The size of the venues will change, but the new material and the arrangement with the full band will remain consistent throughout both parts of the tour.
This continuity has a concrete basis. Winnerbäck recorded Längtan till våren together with his live band at La Fabrique in Provence during spring 2026. The touring band consists of Jonna Löfgren on drums, Jerker Odelholm on bass, Mikaela Hansson on piano and synth, Carl Ekerstam and Staffan Johansson on guitar, and Sandra Widman on vocals. With two guitarists, keyboards, and an additional singer besides the rhythm section, the smaller concerts retain the personnel from a larger live production.
In the presentation of the tour, two club concerts in Norrköping in 2024 are highlighted as a model for the arrangement. According to the provided tour data, tickets for these performances sold out in minutes. The comparison describes the 2027 concerts as a return to full band performances up close rather than as a separate acoustic project.
From Northern Norway to Copenhagen
The new tour plan begins with three consecutive Norwegian concerts: in Bodø, Narvik, and Tromsø. The journey then continues through Umeå, Skellefteå, and Luleå before reaching Tavastia in Helsinki for two shows. Store Vega in Copenhagen will host the last concert of the tour on September 4, 2027. Tickets will be available via Winnerbäck’s official website, winnerback.se.

It begins in Linköping and includes, among others, Scandinavium in Gothenburg, Malmö Arena, and Avicii Arena in Stockholm, before concluding with concerts in Trondheim and Oslo. Längtan till våren follows Neutronstjärnan, the 2023 album created together with Joakim Berg and Martin Sköld, which earned Winnerbäck the Årets rock award at Grammis 2024. The new tour extension places his latest recording alongside the older songs that form the core of the announced program. The full band serves as the link between the grand scale of the arenas and the concerts at smaller venues.
