In August 2026, Flow Festival is back at its iconic Suvilahti venue in Helsinki for yet another large-scale experience, this time between August 14 and 16. Known for its vibrant mix of cutting-edge music, art, and social engagement, Flow Festival has grown into one of Finland's most progressive cultural gatherings. This year's edition continues the legacy with a dynamic program combining international top names, innovative art installations, and a special family Sunday.

Star-studded music lineup on ten stages

Flow Festival 2026 presents an exceptionally broad musical offering: around 150 artists and groups will perform on ten different stages. The international lineup is headlined by acts such as Florence + The Machine, Zara Larsson, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Sombr, Turnstile, Marina, Disclosure (DJ set) and Clipse. In addition, top Finnish artists such as ibe, OLGA, Vesta, J. Karjalainen, Olavi Uusivirta, Arppa 8-pack, Antti Autio + jouset and Bizi will also perform, ensuring encounters between world stars and local talent.

Electronic music stages will vibrate with club energy, featuring profiles such as Kettama, DJ Gigola, Honey Dijon and Todd Terje. The wide mix makes the festival suitable both for mainstream visitors and those seeking the alternative and experimental.

Flow has long included an extensive art program. In 2026, the audience will experience several immersive installations and acts: among the highlights is MASTERMINTUN's multisensory fashion experience, where avant-garde design meets sound and light, and exhibitions by Kadir Amigo Memiş and Merle Karp's fascinating video artwork Fluvial Time. The area will be filled with contemporary art, transforming the festival grounds into a living gallery.

The festival's Flow Talks program brings together experts, journalists, and creative leaders to discuss themes such as creativity, inclusion, and the growing role of artificial intelligence in society. These discussions allow visitors to deepen their engagement with current topics alongside the artistic experience.

Culinary experiences with responsibility at the heart

One of Flow Festival's most appreciated elements is its food offering. With over 40 restaurants and cafes on site, everything from fine dining to pioneering street food is available. The festival's values are clearly reflected: no red meat or poultry is served and all fish is locally sourced. Many food vendors have entirely vegan menus, others guarantee at least one vegan option—a sign of both environmental focus and a desire for food inclusivity.

This year introduces new vendors such as Laivakoira, Aperte, Boulevard Seafood, Le Grec, and Robusto, while beloved favorites return with sustainable flavors. The festival's focus on responsible ingredients goes hand in hand with its vision for a conscious event.

Families and accessibility in focus

Flow Festival pays special attention to families with its popular Family Sunday on August 16, 2026. Between 13:00 and 17:00, children aged 0–12 are admitted together with an adult holding a Sunday ticket. The program features the Skidit Disco Marathon, dance workshops led by the Helsinki Dance Institute, and interactive activities with Museo Leikki, ensuring even the youngest can experience the Flow spirit.

Deeply rooted in sustainability

At the core of Flow Festival's philosophy is the Sustainable Flow initiative. The event is powered by renewable energy, aims to reduce climate impact, and invests in recycling and reuse. Social responsibility is visible in efforts towards equality, safety, and accessibility. Flow also partners with environmental organizations, contributes to research, and acts as a pioneer for a greener festival scene.
