beabadoobee returns with the eagerly awaited album Pylon, marking yet another bold step for one of Britain's most significant alternative artists. The album is released via Dirty Hit/Interscope Records and is available digitally, on CD, and on vinyl.

The new album follows her UK chart-topper This Is How Tomorrow Moves from 2024, and showcases how Beatrice Laus – the person behind beabadoobee – both broadens and deepens her musical and emotional expression. Pylon is her most complex and ambitious work to date: here, raw anxiety, loneliness, ecstatic euphoria, heartbreak and intense infatuation are interwoven. The listener encounters tracks that are both sincerely honest and cathartic, shaped by Laus' introspective songwriting process during travels and solitary moments.

Pylon's soundscape, collaborations and inner journey

The album opens strongly with the single “Write Me A Letter” – an energetic indie-rock track produced by Matty Healy and George Daniel from The 1975, who have long been her creative collaborators. The song is about recognizing one's own flaws and daring to say the difficult things, a theme beabadoobee herself has described in press materials.

On Pylon, several prominent figures from the alternative music scene make appearances. Among the invited guests are Hayley Williams, Brendan Yates (Turnstile), Evan Stephens Hall (Pinegrove), Chino Moreno (Deftones) and Shane Moran (Title Fight), making Laus' youthful dream of collaborations a reality.

The emotional breadth is reflected in the album's experimental sound. Each track – including previous singles such as “Memories”, “Switchblade” and “Sun Has Set” – is characterized by unfiltered directness and creative freedom, similar to her very first songs. Much of the album was written alone in hotel rooms, which has given it a raw, intimate feel recognizable to the listener.

Despite themes of turbulent youth and life’s uncertainties, the album does not seek definitive answers. Instead, Pylon celebrates the beauty of uncertainty and change; Laus embraces ambiguity and transforms it into creative energy and an honest connection with her audience.

To celebrate the release of Pylon, beabadoobee is hosting exclusive, intimate concerts in London. Afterwards, she embarks on her first arena tour – Powerlines Tour – which begins in October 2026 in North America. The tour will then continue to arenas in the UK and Europe during the autumn and winter.

Swedish fans can look forward to a confirmed date: beabadoobee will play at Fryshuset Arenan in Stockholm on 24 November 2026, thus returning to the Nordic live scene.

With three acclaimed albums, five EPs, over 10 billion global streams, as well as awards such as the NME Radar Prize and nominations for BRIT and BBC Sound Of, beabadoobee has established herself as a leading contemporary artist. Her previous albums have charted highly in the UK and her influence is growing worldwide. Earlier in 2026, the single "All I Did Was Dream Of You" was also released together with The Marías, further demonstrating her openness to collaboration.

Pylon is more than just a follow-up – it is a bold step forward and captures the complexity, honesty and creative renewal that defines beabadoobee today. Listen to or purchase Pylon on your favorite platform and take part in the next chapter of a unique musical journey.
