Turmion Kätilöt have released their twelfth studio album, Resodance, through Nuclear Blast Records. Produced by the band with Mikko Tegelman, the record combines melody with heavy industrial rhythms across a connected sequence of songs.
Vocalist MC Raaka Pee describes its structure through the image of the ouroboros, the snake swallowing its own tail: a circle that closes while continuing endlessly. Each of the twelve tracks represents an hour, with individual notes assigned their own colour and character within a continuous musical cycle.
The featured single, Näe Minut, has an accompanying music video. The remaining band members are fellow vocalist Shag-U, bassist Master Bates, keyboardist Run-Q, drummer DQ and guitarist Bobby Undertaker.
