Passenger Returns to Stockholm: Concert on March 11, 2027 and New Album "Wild Love"

After nearly nine years of waiting, it is time again: Passenger, the British singer-songwriter Mike Rosenberg, returns to Stockholm. On March 11, 2027, he will take the stage at Filadelfia as part of an extensive European tour. For many Swedish fans, it marks a cherished reunion—the last time he played in the city was almost a decade ago. Passenger's intimate acoustic music has since continued to find new listeners all around the world.

Tickets for the highly anticipated concert go on sale via Ticketmaster on August 28 at 11:00 am. The event welcomes audiences aged 13 and up, reflecting Passenger's broad appeal and the emotionally charged stories that characterize his songwriting.

A songwriter who touches several generations

Passenger achieved worldwide success with the hit "Let Her Go," a folk-pop ballad whose raspy voice and honest melodies touched the entire music world. Over the years, Rosenberg has continued to expand his sound with songs like "Life’s for the Living", "Holes" and "Scare Away the Dark"—all examples of his ability to capture feelings of longing, loss, and restlessness. His music is characterized by themes of love, searching, and human experiences, which has given him a devoted international audience.

What sets Passenger apart is his ability to tell stories that feel both close and universal at the same time. Through persistent touring and small-scale live performances, Rosenberg has built a strong relationship with his audience. His concerts are characterized by intimacy—both on stage and in the atmosphere—where the line between artist and listener often fades away.

The Stockholm show will be part of a European tour that coincides with the release of Passenger’s new album, “Wild Love,” slated for release on November 6, likely in 2026. This means the audience will have the chance to experience new material live when the concert takes place the following spring.

"Wild Love" represents a step forward for Rosenberg, colored by major changes in his own life. During the making of the album, he both got married and became a father for the first time—experiences that leave their mark on the musical and lyrical landscape. On "Wild Love," Passenger explores the many faces of love—from vulnerability and infatuation to risk and new journeys.

Musically, he continues to develop his stripped-down expression and again collaborates with producer Chris Vallejo and several recurring musicians. The album broadens its soundscape with touches of piano and synths, which give the songs new nuances. Highlights include "Boomerang," the reflective "It Was Gonna Be You," the title track "Wild Love," and the atmospheric "Ghosts."

Over two decades, Passenger has built a unique relationship with his fans through honesty, warmth, and sensitive songs that have accompanied people through life’s many phases. As he now returns to Sweden with a new album and concert, the audience can look forward to both familiar and innovative sides of Rosenberg’s artistry.
