Mirella, considered one of Finland's most promising new pop artists, is releasing her second studio album 'Ja nyt mä kerron' on November 13, 2026. The album is the eagerly awaited follow-up to her debut 'Kunpa oisin kertonut' from 2024, which achieved four times platinum streaming status, broke several Spotify records, and was awarded seven Emma Awards – Finland's equivalent of the Grammis.

To celebrate the release of 'Ja nyt mä kerron', Mirella is inviting fans to three exclusive album concerts in January 2027, where her new music will be performed in a grand symphonic format. Together with Sinfonia Lahti and its 60 musicians, Mirella's pop repertoire will be transformed into bold and ambitious orchestral works, giving both the songs and stories an entirely new sheen.

Exclusive Symphonic Album Concerts

The all-ages concerts will take place at two of Finland's most prestigious concert venues:

  • January 7, 2027 – Sibeliustalo, Lahti
  • January 8, 2027 – Finlandia-talo, Helsinki (newly classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site)
  • January 9, 2027 – Finlandia-talo, Helsinki

All symphonic arrangements and musical direction are by composer and multi-instrumentalist Marzi Nyman. Nyman, who has extensive experience in cross-genre projects, has been described by Mirella as her dream collaborator. Mirella expresses her admiration for Nyman's artistry and emphasizes the power of elevating pop music to a new level with an orchestra: "These special arrangements cast new light on the songs and their stories," says Mirella. She especially hopes that a young audience will experience the unique merging of pop and classical music in some of the country's best concert halls.

Tickets go on sale on September 10, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. via mirellavirallinen.fi. Tickets for the Sibeliustalo concert are sold via Lippu.fi, while the concerts at Finlandia-talo are sold via Tiketti.fi. These three concerts are exclusive and the only chance to hear Mirella's new album live with symphony orchestra.

Mirella says that the new album showcases a different side of her artistry: "Between the albums I have lived so much and that journey is heard in the new music. I found a new freedom during the process and blurred the boundaries of my creativity. The result is an album that is confident, curious, and tender – a symbol-laden story of development." Details about the song material are still being kept secret, but expectations for Mirella's second album are high – both among fans and within the music industry – after her debut success.

Through this innovative project, Mirella solidifies her position as a dynamic force on the Nordic pop scene, demonstrating both ambition and artistic vision in uniting popular music with a large orchestra in some of Finland's leading concert halls.
