On October 9, the Swedish artist Mi von Ahn releases the double single "Varje gång vi hörs kan det va för sent/Dadjat ii (II)", giving listeners an emotional preview of her upcoming album "Delta Veins" due out on November 6. The double single brings together two songs that explore contemporary anxieties and contradictions, while also demonstrating von Ahn's ongoing development as a songwriter and producer.

"Varje gång vi hörs kan det va för sent" captures emotional uncertainty and moves in the borderland between hope and resignation. The song depicts what it feels like to be stuck in limbo while trying to repair a relationship that may already be lost. Through its lyrics, it paints an emotional landscape where the balance between opportunity and definitive separation is always present. Von Ahn puts words to the universal feeling of uncertainty and longing for closeness, with her distinctive melodic expression at the forefront.

The double single's second track, "Dadjat ii (II)", takes the listener on a related journey—this time with a title in Northern Sami, which means "to say no." The song explores the points where human and ecological boundaries are stretched to the utmost. It deals with how we repress reality until we can no longer ignore the changes happening, both in personal relationships and the world at large. "Dadjat ii (II)" also serves as a continuation of a Swedish song that will be presented on the album later this autumn.

The album "Delta Veins" is Mi von Ahn's third full-length and marks a new, significant step in her artistic development. The creation has been a collaboration with Martin Hederos, known from The Soundtrack of Our Lives and Tonbruket, as well as Anton Sundell, who has worked with Ane Brun among others. Their experience adds new layers and nuances to von Ahn's music, resulting in a fresh and exploratory chapter in her career.

The new album is already positioning itself through the double single as an evolution of von Ahn's earlier work. Thematically, it revolves around resilience, change, and the importance of setting boundaries—both privately and in society. The collaboration with Hederos and Sundell not only brings stylistic leaps, but also a deepened storytelling and emotional expression that characterizes von Ahn's music.

In "Varje gång vi hörs kan det va för sent/Dadjat ii (II)", both loyal listeners and new fans will find a strong invitation into Mi von Ahn's ever-changing sonic landscape. It paves the way for "Delta Veins"—an album that will be released on November 6 and brings together themes and musical experiments from this double single.
