Today marks an important milestone for Jungle as they launch their latest single, “Someday, Somewhere,” the third taste from the much-anticipated upcoming album Sunshine, slated for release on August 14, 2026. The track premiered as Radio 1's “Hottest Record,” immediately placing Jungle in the spotlight and strengthening their role as pioneers in modern, genre-crossing music.

“Someday, Somewhere”: A new phase of optimism and groove

Jungle, consisting of founders J Lloyd and Tom McFarland along with the new official member Lydia Kitto, continues to refine their unique style where soul, disco, and electronic rhythms blend together. “Someday, Somewhere” is characterized by sun-drenched beats and elegant production, creating a pulsating backdrop for Lydia Kitto’s characteristically soulful vocals. The track breathes warmth, hope, and a sparkling faith in the future – ever-present qualities in the band’s sound.

The new single follows previous releases “Carry On” and “The Wave,” both of which have made a significant impact and received frequent airplay on British radio stations like BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, and Virgin Radio. Jungle also offered a taste of “Someday, Somewhere” during Tom McFarland’s surprise DJ set at Bus Palladium in Paris, further raising expectations for the album's launch.

On the song's theme, Jungle explains: “'Someday, Somewhere' is about keeping the feeling that something better is waiting. It channels our signature optimism, elements of longing and escapism – something we hope our listeners can really lose themselves in.”

Sunshine, to be released on August 14, is available to pre-order in several exclusive formats: 180-gram black vinyl, Desert Peach vinyl, transparent brown marbled vinyl – all presented in gatefold sleeves – as well as a CD digipak. This variety reflects the band's focus on the complete experience, both sonically and visually.

Attention surrounding the album is strengthened even further as Jungle announces the Sunshine World Tour, which kicks off in September 2026 and cements the group as an internationally acclaimed live act. The tour features arena concerts in North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Latin America, and runs through spring 2027. Notable stops include two hometown shows at The O2 in London and a sold-out concert at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. For Danish fans, the band plays at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen on November 6, 2026.

Jungle was formed in London in 2013 by J Lloyd and Tom McFarland and has built an international reputation through explosive live performances and a unique mix of contemporary and retro influences. They broke through with their self-titled debut in 2014, which entered the UK album chart top 10 and was followed by further successes with “For Ever” (2018) and “Loving In Stereo” (2021), the latter reaching number three in the UK.

In 2023, the group cemented their position with the album “Volcano,” featuring the megahit “Back On 74,” which achieved platinum certification in both the UK and US. Since then, Jungle has completed sold-out arena tours worldwide and captivated audiences on some of the world’s largest stages – including The O2, Coachella, and the All Points East festival. Altogether, their music has now been streamed over 4 billion times globally.

With “Someday, Somewhere,” Jungle not only confirms their distinctive sound marked by optimism, longing, and escapism, but also embarks on a new chapter with fresh energy – both in the studio and on the world’s biggest stages.
