The Swedish metal band ELEINE continues its successful journey by today launching their new single and music video, 'Watch As We Rise'. The song, described as the heaviest so far from the upcoming fifth studio album 'The Water Taste Of Blood', is now available on all major digital platforms. At the same time, the band has unveiled the album's cover art, and pre-orders for the album are now officially open – a significant step on the band's own label.
Established for their dark melodic and intense sound, ELEINE here delivers a track that elevates themes of resilience and self-empowerment. 'Watch As We Rise' is built on heavy, grinding guitar riffs and an uncompromising vocal performance that clearly reflects the band's distinctive expression. The single follows the previously released 'Empire of Lies' and 'We March', and together they form a musical narrative of exposed lies, struggle, and a final reclaiming of strength and power.
Band members Rikard Ekberg and Madeleine Liljestam describe 'Watch As We Rise' as a liberating creation, born from personal trials over recent years. In their own words, the song is a hymn to reclaiming control over one's life – a call to stand up in the face of adversity and burn away obstacles with determination and strength. The uncompromising drive in the music, through distinctive guitar riffs and direct vocals, highlights the message of refusing to give in and strengthening one's own will.
'The Water Taste Of Blood' will become the band's fifth full-length album and marks their independence in the music industry, now with distribution on their own record label. The album release has been launched with the singles 'Empire of Lies' and 'We March', and ELEINE is moving towards an album permeated with both heaviness and strong themes.
The single and music video for 'Watch As We Rise' can now be enjoyed via digital music services.
