Linkin Park has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming documentary “Unshatter”, which will have its world premiere in cinemas on September 30. The film follows the band’s long and emotional path back after vocalist Chester Bennington’s death in 2017.

The documentary is directed by Linkin Park member Joe Hahn and depicts how the band tried to find a new identity and musical direction after the tragic loss. Viewers are taken behind the scenes during a period marked by grief, uncertainty, and difficult decisions about the band’s future.

An important part of the film is Linkin Park’s collaboration with new singer Emily Armstrong. Her entry into the band marks the beginning of a new chapter and shows the group’s determination to continue evolving and making music, while Chester Bennington’s legacy remains a central part of the story.

In the trailer, Mike Shinoda describes the emotional challenge of starting over:

“The hardest part of an ending is starting again.”

The film features both personal moments behind the scenes and concert footage from the band’s latest tour. Fans thus get an intimate insight into how Linkin Park has handled its return, work with the new lineup, and meeting the audience after several years of uncertainty.

“Unshatter” is not only about the band’s musical comeback. The documentary also explores themes such as grief, healing, resilience, and the power of moving forward after a life-changing loss.

For Linkin Park fans, the film provides an opportunity to follow the band’s journey from one of its darkest periods to the beginning of a new era. “Unshatter” premieres in cinemas worldwide on September 30.
