The Finnish hard rock band HÄ/DA is quickly establishing itself on the modern rock scene with its latest release, "Gone In November." With roots in Muurame and Kuopio, HÄ/DA draws on the muscular weight of classic AC/DC riffs while simultaneously adding a strongly melodic pop sensibility, giving the band a sound that is both familiar and unique.

"Gone In November" kicks off with high energy: biting guitars and a fast-paced drive set the tone for the band's uncompromising hard rock. Beneath the rough surface, however, are choruses that immediately stick and a lyrical sharpness that sets HÄ/DA apart from purely retro acts. The song gains additional shine through a sci-fi-tinged music video that enhances its contemporary attitude. The single is available on major streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, and Amazon Music.

The lyrics to "Gone In November" revolve around a man whose restless soul constantly drives him onward—even though he has found the love of his life. He promises to return, always orbiting his beloved like a satellite. This romantic yet melancholic tale is delivered with conviction by singer and guitarist Antti "DeeAa" Heikkinen, also well-known from his work in the Kuopio band Mosfite. His voice and guitar playing form a foundation in HÄ/DA's sound.

On guitar is Juho "Hässi" Hämäläinen, who also forms an important backbone in the band. He has solid stage experience from performances with Dirty Deeds Indeed—one of Finland's most recognized AC/DC tribute bands—as well as hard rock act Rane Rautiainen & Paha Kaksonen. Both main members also share a background in the Jyväskylä band Brutaali Magneetti from the late 1990s, anchoring HÄ/DA's current expression in the Finnish rock tradition.

The band is building on the momentum created by their debut EP (Almost) 20 Minutes Of Love, which was released in spring 2025 and quickly found its way onto the airwaves of radio stations in the USA, France, England, and Scotland. The previous single, "Workingman’s Blues," was released in June and also gained international attention, contributing to HÄ/DA's growing profile among European and global rock fans.

This creative energy paves the way for the forthcoming debut album, Electric Knights Of Eternal Rock Fury, which is expected to be released in October 2024. The band proudly embraces its musical inspirations and aims to deliver one of the year's strongest hard rock albums. Listeners who enjoy AC/DC, The Darkness, Airbourne, Rhino Bucket, and The Cult will find much to appreciate in HÄ/DA's guitar-driven and melody-focused style.

For anyone seeking a charged mix of classic hard rock attitude and unforgettable melodies, "Gone In November" is an excellent entry point. The band's modern interpretation of classic influences bodes well for the upcoming album release.
