Glow Festival 2026 will light up Nokia Arena in Tampere on Saturday, August 29, offering a fusion of Finnish pop rock and American gospel. The festival, which has quickly established itself as one of the country's most important forums for Christian music, attracts visitors from all over Finland, Sweden, and the Baltics.

Finnish and International Top Class on Stage

The main program features many of Finland's best-known names: Diandra, Ilta, Mirella, Jepa Lambert, the choir Sounds of Mercy, Lasse Sakara with band, Pekka Ruuska, Jukka Leppilampi, and Pekka Simojoki, as well as several other renowned artists. Together, they offer a broad palette of Finland's vibrant gospel and pop rock scene.

The international flair is further strengthened as acclaimed musicians from New York's Times Square Church perform. Among this year's foreign guests is Jerard Woods, one of the USA's most prominent gospel singers. The festival program focuses on unique collaborations, where American musicians and Finnish soloists unite for a specially composed production created specifically for the arena environment.

Conductor and musical director Jukka "Juke" Palonen, who has led the music at Times Square Church for fifteen years, will be conducting a concert experience inspired by New York's rich gospel tradition. The concert is a collaboration between maestro Palonen and the festival's artistic director Lasse Sakara, ensuring a dynamic combination of Finnish and American influences and strong musical storytelling.

Glow Festival's program includes a variety of experiences: acoustic performances, communal sing-alongs reminiscent of campfire evenings, as well as modern urban gospel and grand band performances. The program offering reflects the innovation and diversity of the Christian music scene.

A particular highlight is the presentation of the Glow Gospel Awards, where individuals and contributors in the Christian music sphere are recognized for their contributions and achievements. The awards ceremony underscores the event's role as not only a concert forum, but also a place to celebrate commitment and quality within the music community.

Glow Festival is organized by Ohjelmatoimisto Kristalli, with careful attention to both audience and participating artists. The festival's rapidly growing popularity—the first year sold out completely—demonstrates its broad appeal among gospel enthusiasts and its position as a central meeting place for spiritual and musical fellowship in Finland.

The press is invited to a media meeting in Nokia Arena on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 12:00. Media representatives are asked to register in advance with press secretary Jutta Vetter no later than Friday, August 28, 2026, at 15:00. The festival program begins the same day at 16:00, offering both press and the public a unique encounter between Finnish and international gospel in the country's premier arena environment.
