Today, Swedish-Finnish artist FELIN (Elin Blom) releases the new single "Running Red Lights." Blending alternative rock, pop punk, and dark pop, the song captures both the intensity and vulnerability of following one's dreams, taking risks, and persevering despite setbacks. Inspired by FELIN's own life experiences, the track is a bold and personal manifesto about the importance of never giving up, no matter how many doors are closed along the way.

FELIN, raised in Teerijärvi, began her musical journey at the age of eleven when she formed her first band as a child. By sixteen, she was already performing on national stages, including participating in the UMK competition with Sister Twister. Her drive and ambition took her across continents, first to Los Angeles and then to Stockholm, where she now continues to develop her distinctive sound. The multicultural background, with Finnish roots and experiences from several countries, has been crucial to her artistic expression and identity—something strongly reflected in her latest work.

"Running Red Lights" is a preview of FELIN's upcoming album "President of My Own Fanclub," to be released on October 16, 2026. The single follows this year's previous releases, such as "Hit Like A Girl" and "Ricochet," which together build the sonic world around the new album. A recurring theme is the artist's DIY spirit and unbreakable dedication, most clearly expressed in the recurring slogan: "I do what I want!"—an independent and affirming message that permeates FELIN's entire career philosophy.

In addition to her solo project, FELIN has distinguished herself as a songwriter, including for international artists such as Adam Lambert, and has been a touring musician with acts including Icona Pop and Agnes. Live, FELIN is known for high-energy, unfiltered performances with a strong focus on audience engagement—something that has made a strong impression at festivals, on TV performances across Europe, and in major support slots, for example with The Chainsmokers on arena stages in Berlin.

After the album release, FELIN faces her most extensive tour to date. At the end of October 2026, she will join the Ukrainian rock band The Hardkiss as support on their Anniversary Tour 2026—a major tour with 24 concerts across Europe. The tour kicks off in Wrocław, Poland, and visits cities such as Paris, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and concludes at the renowned Tavastia in Helsinki on December 1, 2026.

The upcoming tour will be the next significant step in a career marked by strength, authenticity, and a commanding stage presence.
